GriefWalk

Support Groups

We offer a wide range of groups and other supports to help you along your grief journey.

Our programs help people deal with the reality of their life changes, providing tools, coping strategies and a safety-net while grieving their life loss. We will discuss how grief affects you on all levels — physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Many topics will be covered, as they relate to grief and mourning. For example, how to manage and cope with overwhelming emotions, the importance of mindfulness in your healing, how to reconcile a new life without your loved one, the three dimensions of grief, etc.

Eight weeks of learning and dialoguing while normalizing and healing grief and the pain associated with it.

Remember that grief is a process, not an event.

We invite you to read about our groups below and connect with us if you are interested. Prior to joining any group there is an interview process in order for us to gain a better understanding of your loss and what supports you may need. It begins with a conversation.

There is no cost to most of our groups (except Healing with Horses and Healing through Art Expression). Dates and times are subject to change. All groups are virtual unless otherwise noted in the description.

Loss of a Pet

It is only natural that when you love your pet, there is a necessity to grieve when you lose them. There is a simultaneous hardship for pet owners because society often denies the grief that comes as the result of a pet loss. As a result, many people hide or bury the grief they are feeling. If you have suffered the loss of your beloved pet, we offer a program to help you understand your grief while providing a safe place for you to embrace your loss and find healing. You will be encouraged to connect with others grieving a similar loss, talk about your thoughts and feelings, and learn coping strategies. This six-week group is for adults over the age of 18. There is no charge.
